PROJECT NEHEMIA VIII

PERIOD:	April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017
TARGET:	Rs. 1,25,000 (One Lakh Twenty Five Thousand) of which Rs. 1,00,000 to be raised by BYF, EBCC Delhi and Rs. 25,000 by BYF, EBCC Central Delhi
THRUST AREAS:	A Core team, comprising of Chairman, Asst. Secretary and Finance Secretary of BYF, EBCC Delhi along with Secretary BYF, EBCC Central Delhi was constituted. The core team undertake a detailed study of the project and based on their recommendation the above budget is allocated as follows: 1. Infrastructure- Rs. 50,000 2. Student Aid- Rs. 50, 000 3. Teaching Aid- Rs. 25,000

01	Construction of SIAMSIN HOSTEL WATER TANK, Sinzawl	Financial Assistance of Rs. 50,000	In collaboration with the Social Development Department, a Water Tank at the cost of Rs. 2, 00,000 was constructed and completed at Siamsin Hostel, Sinzawl. Out of the total expenditure, Rs. 50,000 was met through assistance from Project Nehemia.
02	1. Siamsin Hostel, Sinzawl 2. EBC Hostel, Thanlon 3. Beth Haran Hostel, Lamka	A financial assistance for the payment of hostel mess fees for students staying at the mentioned three hostels was sanctioned. The total assistance amounts to Rs. 50,000	All hostel mess fees for the beneficiary students were paid for the project period.
03	JB Schools	A budget of Rs. 25,000 was allocated for purchasing of Teaching aid. Of these Rs. 21,000 is spent on purchase of 21 Geometrical Box. The remaining Rs. 4,000 is spent on purchase of 2 boxes of sweets for students	All the purchased Geometrical Boxes and sweets were distributed to select beneficiaries.
