PROJECT NEHEMIA - II

PHASE	BENEFICIARIES	NATURE OF ASSISTANCE/SUPPORT	STATUS REMARK
PHASE-I	Convention English School, Sinzawl, Thanlon Division	Rs 30,000/- given for construction of the school library and purchase of science laboratory equipments.	With the recognition of the school by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) and the permission to open Class-X therein, there was an urgent need set up a proper science laboratory and library as required by the rules. The requisite facilities were set up through the financial support of Project Nehemiah.
PHASE-II	Convention English School, Dawltang, Vangai Division	Rs 32,650/- contributed towards construction of the school building.	Completed. The school had no building and students were taking classes inside the YPA Hall, until a new building was constructed through the Project.
PHASE-III	Convention English School, Ngaljang, Singngat Division	Rs 30,000 allocated for reparation of the Headmasters’ quarter.	The Headmaster’s quarter had become too dilapidated to live in and required urgent repair. Reparation work completed.
