Pastor Nenglian Vualnam, the eldest son of Pastor (Retd.) V Songkhothang & Mrs. Haukhanniang, was born in one of the most remote villages in North East India name Bualkot in Churachandpur Dist., Manipur in the year 1974.
Pastor Lian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Manipur University, a Bachelor of Divinity degree from Union Biblical Seminary in Pune, a Master of Theology in New Testament from Asian Center for Theological Studies and Mission (ACTS) in South Korea.
It was in April 2000, Pastor Lian received God's calling to serve in Christian ministry as full-time minister. He recommitted his life unto God by accepting the "High Calling" (Jer. 1:4-10).
In 2005, he taught Theology and Pastoral Ministry at Grace Bible College, New Lamka. In the same year, he was Pastoring in a Church as Assistant Pastor. On December 11, 2005 he was commissioned and ordained as PASTOR at the 56th General Convention of the Evangelical Baptist Convention.
Pastor Lian went, along with his wife, to Sinzawl EBC Church where he worked as a Senior Pastor in 2006.
He has a deep commitment and warm concern to edify and reform the present church system in order to win the 21st century generation for Christ.
In 2016 he was called to superintend Lamka South Division of the Church.
Pastor Lian resides in the DS Quarter, Convention Road, New Lamka, Manipur with his wife (Ruati) and two lovely daughters (Betty & Ruth) and a son (Thangmang).
