Pastor G.Khankham was born on 2 October, 1959 between (L) Mr. Henchinthang and (L) Ms. Ngemzangai in Mualkui Village, Churachandpur District, Manipur. He got baptism in Christ in the hands of (L) Pastor M Khamzalian.
G. Khankham started his schooling in a school run by the Evangelical Baptist Convention Church in Sinzang, Singngat sub-division in 1969, received high school leaving certificate (HSLC) from Songtal Government High School in 1980. He graduated from Churachandpur Government College, Lamka in the year 1984.
He worked for the Kingdom of God as Headmaster, Convention School in Behiangjang from 1988 to 1997 and then from 2002 to 2003; in Kangkap from 1997 to 2001; and in Thanlon from January to June, 2004. While being in Thanlon he felt the need of a reload on ecclesiastical learning. Due to such a feeling he obtained Master of Divinity from Grace Bible College, Lamka, also run by the Evangelical Baptist Convention Church between July 2004 and June 2007. Thereafter he was posted in Songtal the place where he'd received his HSLC and worked there between July 2007 and December, 2008.
Before coming to Delhi in January 17, 2020 to shepherd God's people here, he served as Pastor Assistant in Bungmual from January 2009 to December, 2009 and as Local Pastor in Kawlbem (Mizoram) from January, 2010 to January, 2013; in Shillong from January, 2013 to December, 2017; and as ‘Area Pastor’ stationed in Mualnuam village from January, 2018 to December, 2019.
The pastor and his wife Hauzadim have 4 sons and a daughter, viz. (1) G. Thangminlian; (2) G. Thangkhenmung; (3) G Lamsangmuan;(4) G Thangdinglian; and (5) Ms Ngaihoihkim. They are also blessed with equal number grand children. The grand children are: (a) Mannunhoih (D/o G Lamsangmuan); (b) Dimthianven (D/o G Lamsangmuan); (c) Liansonmuan (S/o G Thanglianding); (d) Khamthiansian (S/o G Thangminlian); and (e) Kimthiannem (D/o G Thangkhenmung).
