YOUTH 1434 PRO - Keynote address by Asst. Pastor Biakson.
The Pastor addressed about ‘Youth 1434 Pro’ as below:
Introduction
Due to the problem faced by the tribals in Manipur, Youth 2015 (Conference) cum BYF Golden Jubilee slated for first week of December, 2015 was cancelled; feeling hurt about the problem, and to rebuild ourselves on righteousness, a forum ‘Youth 1434 Pro’ was started. ‘Youth 1434 Pro’ is based on the Bible verse, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverb 14:34). "Pro" stands for the word 'Proverb', "1434" stands for Bible chapter and verse of Proverb 14 & 34 respectively; so, ''1434 Pro'' stands for 'Proverb 14:34'. ‘Youth 1434 Pro’ is also an initiative of the youth for committing in truth and righteousness.

RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HOLINESS
Deacon Kam Suanthang took time for the message, as follows:-
Who will set the boundary (for righteousness)?
- Who don’t stay at their work place
- Who stay in their work place, but don’t work or not active in working
- Who go to office but went out often to do something else
- Who go to office but active in social networking sites
- Who go to office but doing work selectively
# Is ‘my conscience clear’ of the boundary?
# God said, foolish heart was darkened (Rom. 1:21; II Kor. 4:4)
Who will judge?
Qualities needed for the one who judge:
- has to stay from the beginning till the end,
- not to change the measuring scale,
- can do everything,
- can see every place,
- should know everything.
# Who can compare the Holy God? Is there anyone who resembles Him? (Is. 46:5)
The boundary of the righteousness and holiness is set by God.
Natural attributes of God
1) He is eternal – I am always lively and Holy God (Is. 57:15)
2) He is unchangeable – I am the Lord, I don’t ever change (Mal. 3:6)
3) He possess all power (omnipotent) Is. 46:10, 11; 55:11
4) He is present everywhere (omnipresent)
5) He has all knowledge (omniscient)
Setting God’s boundary and judgement
To set God’s boundary : To be like Him
- I am Holy, you also has to be Holy (Lev. 11:45, 19:12; I Pet. 1:16)
- And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. (Eph. 4:24)
God’s Judgment : The wages of sin is death; without setting blood there is no forgiveness
- the wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23)
- without setting blood, there is no forgiveness (Heb. 9:22)
Dispensation of Justice
- The offerings of Kaine and Abel: the offerings including blood and without blood.
- To open and see the ark of God: who open and see the inside of the ark of God died on the spot itself.
- The sin of Akan: one person’s sin led to the whole nation’s suffering.
- One who belief in Jesus Christ:
- “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.” (Rom. 10:4)
- The righteousness of God (Rom 3:22).
Acceptable to God : Righteousness and Truthfulness
Whatever you do, do for the glory of God (I Kor. 10:31)
Without Jesus, nothing is possible (John 15:5). Whatever we have done without Jesus, it is nothing in the eyes of God.
Apostle Paul said, I can do all things through Christ. So with Jesus, we can live a righteous and holy life.
FOUNDATION FOR TRUTH AND RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PLEDGE
Sr. Pastor Nenglian took time for the sharing and initiated Youth 1434 Pro pledge.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Rom. 8:28)
We can become God’s children and could share His truthfulness by His righteousness manifested through Jesus Christ that we accept by faith. We are sinners right from our birth, and, so becomes sinners even when we do or don’t do sin. By God’s grace and His righteousness, we become His children. Our righteousness should have a firm foundation in God’s righteousness, or else, it is not acceptable to God; we will be judged in the final day through Jesus Christ. By clearly knowing this, we become bold; if not, our boldness is nothing. God accepted us the way we are, yet we should submit and dedicated ourselves to Him for His acceptance.
‘Youth 1434 Pro’ is 1) a part of Christian life, and 2) also, a part of discipleship. We should befriend with others in the standard of God, and that standard is important in the relation of the Church, our land and people.
Thereafter, Sr. Pastor initiated in the distribution of ‘Youth 1434 Pro’ pledge forms. He prayed for the congregations, especially those who committed themselves in righteousness, in holiness for God and in ‘Youth 1434 Pro’, along with the closing prayer. About 128 people pledged to be Youth 1434 Pro.
