WORSHIP SERVICE ON 1st March, 2015
The morning worship service was held at 11:00 AM while the afternoon worship service was held at 3:00 PM. ‘Prayer Cell convenors orientation’ and BYF Choir practice were organized in between. Child dedication (Mr. Thanglianding s/o Mrs. & Mr. Lianbiakmuan) was also performed by Pastor Nenglian during the afternoon worship service.

Theme: “Christian Family Blueprint/Structure”
Based Bible verses: Genesis 2:22-24
The Pastor gave an overview of the theme for the month of March i.e. “Christian Family Blueprint/Structure”.
Since the time of creation, God has already laid down His blueprint for a Christian family. The characteristics of God’s designed structure for a Christian family that could be derived from Genesis 2:22-24 are:
1) One woman and one man necessary – God’s blueprint for a Christian family makes it necessary to comprise of one woman and one man. Development and progress of humanity has brought about new trends in defining a family – a man with more than 1 wife, man with man, woman with woman. However, these are made-up/ discovered by man in their fallen state and are not valid in God’s design. God’s blueprint for a Christian family represents monogamy and it involves a man and a woman.
2) Marital relationship – The phrase‘a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife’may not be interpreted literally. When a man is married to a woman, it epitomizes the inauguration of a new primary responsibility. The honour and respect given by man to his parents must remain the same and does not diminish after marriage. The relationship between husband and wife is permanent and must not be broken.
3) One flesh – When a man and a woman are united in marriage, they have become one flesh. It signifies inseparable permanent union.
In summary:
- The structure/blueprint for a Christian family has already been designed and laid out by God.
- It is our responsibility to observe and follow God’s blueprint for a Christian family.
