Short testimony by Evangelist Manoj Rana, Nepal Mission Field
Rev. N Thawndoulian, Field Superintendent, Nepal Mission Field was the speaker for the day and he talked about the Urgency of Missions.
I. God has blessed us to be fruitful and multiply and have an authority over all the living creatures on earth. But as we multiply, prosper and grow we tend to forget God by placing our trust and faith on the created rather than on the Creator.
Genesis 1:28”
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
Isaiah 60:1-2
“Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
See, darkness covers the earth
and thick darkness is over the peoples,
but the Lord rises upon you
and his glory appears over you.
All our weaknesses and sufferings are not an outcome of definite act of sins but rather Gods plan so that he can use it for his glory
John 9:3
“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.
III. God has fixed and determined where we will dwell, and how long we will continue our journey on Earth. No one comes sooner or later than Gods’ appointed time.
Acts 17:26
From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.
- God has given each one of us a special assignment to spread the gospel and carry on his ministry.
Matthew 28:18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
The offerings were collected to support the Nepal Mission Field.
