WORSHIP SERVICE (31st August, 2014)
While welcoming the congregation, the Pastor gave a brief introduction of today’s worship service – “Sing- Song Service”. He then read passages from Psalms 105 and followed it up with a prayer.
The Worship team led the congregation in praise & worship (Khrist min ziaka hamphatna, Vualzawlna katan vang in) and mass prayer till the collection of offerings. Upa T.Kaithang made the offertory prayer.
New members (11) were introduced up on the stage by the Local Secretary, Upa H.Kamsuanthang and the Pastor offered prayers for them. The Pastor then welcomed the ‘first-timers’ and guests who came to worship the Lord with us. He also made a briefing of several upcoming programmes/activities of the Church, most notably, Pastoral Prayer on 1st Sunday of September (07.09.2014) and Daniel Fellowship (for Government employees) on last Saturday of September (27.09.2014).
The Worship team took over and led the congregation in singing 2 hymns (Tua sisan & Tul ngeilou) followed by Upa N.Chinsum (i/c Worship) introducing ‘special guests/artistes’ who were invited for today’s Sing-Song service – Rody Za Lien Sing and the Worship Team of Central Delhi EBCC. He further emphasized and urged the congregation to promote our oneness in Christ. The Worship Team of Central Delhi EBCC presented the song “Khrist sisan pha”, while Ms. Rody Za Lien Sing presented the song “Zeisu hi”.
The Worship Team led the congregation in singing 2 songs of praise (Tou Jesu neih kei adin ahun hi & Non vualzawlna). The Pastor then took a moment to underline the essence of praise and worship, which was followed by singing of a hymn by the congregation. Upa Khamkhanpau closed the worship service with a benediction.
