Worship leader Khupsuanlian open the service with a word of prayer followed by praise and worship led by the Worship team. Offering of the day were dedicated to the Lord by Elder Roumuan.
Pastor Hau took up his time for Pastoral Prayer. As today marks International day of Prayer for Persecuted Churches, Mr Ginmuan give information about the difficulties face by
Christians around the World and the importance of prayer for all.
This was followed by a special number from Zechariah group and choreography was performed by Upa Bial No. 2 (Bengali Colony)
Today's lesson was taken up by Pastor Hau, he divided today's lesson into 3 main topics:
- The foundations to work for God
- Gods works and it's fruit
- The trust for the Cross of Jesus Christ
Verse 1-3 covers about the way to pick up and help people who has failed to follow Gods will. Is it ok to back bite people who sin or to help them get back up and stand up for themselves. The principal to help one stand back on its own is approach them . Who can approach them? People who are strong in faith and bare the fruit of the spirit. One should not just laugh at someone who sin or make fun of them.
Verse 4-10 says that one should first see what they did only then be the judge for others. One can think that they are perfect and hate others but before making any judgement it is important for them to look at themselves first. One should make sure they share about the good things they learned from one another and help each other grow. It is our duty to help those that help you as there is a saying 'Do good to others as you want them to do to you'. You get what you sow', so it is very important to sow good so that you get the best result. Never get tired of doing good.
Verse 11-18 It is important that one do good wholeheartedly and not just to show to others . Perfect submission is required to have a peaceful life. Paul submitted himself to God wholeheartedly and so does he has a very peaceful life and his love for God is great. He uses his talent not for show off but for the almighty God only. Never forget someone who teach you good . It is of no used if you do good if you still do not follow the will of God. Paul's last message and prayer says that, May the Lord loves for God be with each one of you. Amen. Do not used the talents that God gave you to boast yourself but used it to show others the glory of God.
This was followed by announcement from elder Thiankhanmuan about the program for Christmas and New Year. A short session of Praise and Worship which was followed by closing prayer by Pastor Hau.
