- Involving oneself in secret and shameful ways, especially actions that may secretly manipulate others for our self-gain
- Use of deception/lies
- Distortion of the Word of God
On the contrary, One should tell the truth of the Good News plainly. The pastor explains that it is not eloquence or entertainment in our narration of the Good News that wins souls, but the truth of the Good News. The truth of the Bible intersects together with the Holy Spirit so that through the Holy Spirit’s convicting power and the truth, a person may be saved and set free. The pastor connected that the truth in the Good News, the Gospel, is Jesus as Jesus Himself has proclaimed that He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Furthermore, the Good News is shared in a way that everyone’s conscience can receive it and they can judge for themselves the credibility of the truth. Lastly, all of these things are to be done plainly under God’s view. Therefore, in conclusion, we do have the whole instrument needed to proclaim the Good news. The way through which to share the Gospel is to look into how you yourself were saved. One finds that it all traces back to the Bible. Thus, we should thoroughly understand the Bible as followers of Christ. This marked the end of the sermon.
The sermon was followed by a short praise and worship session. To close the morning Sunday service, Elder N. Chinsum prayed over the congregation.
