The Sunday service began with the worship team leading songs of praise. Offerings were collected and blessed by Upa T. Roumuan. Pastor T. Lamkhanthang then led a mass prayer, sharing Psalm 9:9-10 and suggesting prayer topics on thanksgiving and prayer for the land.
Following the mass prayer, Pastor introduced the speaker for the service, Mr. Pauzalun Hangluah, who is a Consultant (B.I.). He also informed the congregation that there would be a baptismal service next Saturday.
The speaker, Mr. Pauzalun Hangluah, took the service. He began by introducing himself and sharing highlights of his profession. He spoke about the importance of praise and worship, encouraging the church to continue in this area, which they have been doing well. He then read from John 1:1 and 11, discussing the significance of God's word. He made biblical comparisons between "God's word" in John and the creation narrative in Genesis, explaining that in John, God and His words made things where God is already present. He emphasized that the Word has been there from the beginning, reflecting the divinity and essence of God.
Mr. Hangluah also highlighted the greatness of God's word, explaining how powerful it is that God can create something out of nothing. He concluded the sermon by focusing on spiritual life, emphasizing eternal life and God's kingdom. He encouraged everyone to build a relationship with God and challenged the congregation to reflect on whether they are ready for that commitment.
The worship team led a final song, and Upa Chinsum closed the service.
