The service began with a reading of Scripture portion from Luke 22:14-19 by Pastor T. Lamkhanthang. The worship team led the congregation in singing hymns and Pastor Thang dedicated the offerings to the Almighty which was followed by welcoming of first timer.
Pastor Thang took up the next segment. He started with a sermon by reading from Luke 22:14-23, he said that the Holy Communion is valuable and has power in it for born-again Christians because of Jesus Christ. By reading Scripture portion from Exodus 12 and Luke 22:30, Pastor expounded that the Passover practiced by the Israelites have no significance for us, but Jesus Christ changed this Passover and made a new covenant in His blood when He had His last supper with the Disciples which gave born-again Christians the privilege to eat and drink the Sacrament. Pastor added that we will someday eat the wedding supper of the Lamb and that we are to prepare ourselves for the wedding banquet in our wedding clothes as written in Revelations 19:6-9 and Matthews 22:1-12.
