The congregation gathered for a special Sunday service led by Conductor Nu Niangngaihkim and Recording Secretary Nu Chingmuanvung, creating a warm and reverent atmosphere.
The service began with the conductor's greetings and an outline of the day's plans. Nu Lianngaihnem read from the Bible and led us in prayer. We joined in worship led by the Tualsung Baptist Dorcas Fellowship. During the final song, offerings were given, followed by a prayer led by Upa H. Kam Suanthang.
Nu Neng Mary led a collective prayer session, focusing on love through Bible verses and addressing three prayer points: confession and repentance of sins, gratitude for health and Mother's Day blessings, and seeking God's presence throughout the day. Pastor T. Lamkhanthang concluded the mass prayer.
Nu Ruth Ngaihlun delivered the day's message, starting with an acknowledgment of God's glory and sharing the Dorcas Day Message authored by Nu Nemngaihmawi. The message emphasized loving one another, fostering unity, and the significance of humility in marriage.
A special presentation followed from the Baptist Children Department (BCD) and TBUC/Papi lapawl, honoring mothers with gifts and songs.
Upa T. Roumuan highlighted the invaluable role of mothers and announced a change in the church service schedule. The service, previously held in two shifts, would now accommodate three shifts for better convenience: 11 AM for parents with kids, 2 PM for those without kids, and 5 PM for youths.
Our senior Pastor Dr. Suankhanhau Gualnam delivered the sermon on "Respect Your Mothers," citing Ephesians 6:2 and Exodus 20:12. He stressed the positive impact of respecting mothers and their influence on children's lives.
He concluded by providing practical ways to show respect and appreciation towards mothers, closing with a prayer for all mothers.
The congregation united in singing a final song of praise led by the worship team. Upa T. Roumuan delivered the closing prayer, concluding the service peacefully.
