The topic of the sermon was ‘Unity in Partnership’, which was preached by Pastor Lamkhanthang Tonsing, who started off by reading from the book of Ecclesiastes 4 : 9-12. He spoke about the importance of being united, whether it be a friend or a lover. Working with each other, instead of against one another was crucial for being united. Each individual has their own expected role to play that complements the other person. He further read from the book of Psalm 128 : 3,4, and told us that in order to be fruitful in our lives, we must have reverence for the Lord. He further stated that having a partner is good, not when life is severe, but for life to be more secure, and that one must traverse this path of life together with their partners with all the good and the bad thrown in. Pastor Thang concluded the sermon with a prayer.
The worship service ended with the congregation singing ‘Tunglam Ah Inn Ka Nei’, and benediction from Upa Tuanmuanthang.
