Pastor began his preach on the topic related to Giving is a blessing.
First of all, us churchmembers need to take good part in the work of Mission because in the place of
1839 population, there are 150 people who participated in the work and that ratio is too less when
compared to the total population.
Also, we must all pray for the mission workers who are given information to us through whatsApp group
because they are doing the work of God.
Now he then read out Acts 20:35.
From this chapter, he talked about blessings and that it is more blessed to give than receive. We are
lucky, we all have income, while others are struggling we are able to give out what they need and that
indeed is a blessing from God.
Why does the term "giving out " have so much importance?
Because it is the word of God which we all have to follow.
Pastor said that God told Paul that it is the outcome of our good deeds. Whenever we have free time,
we must try our best to venture out to the ones in need by Giving out, the Pastor encouraged the church
members.
He then read out 2 Corinthians 8:7 where Paul sent a letter to Timothy that you must excel in giving.
- giving is where blessing starts to follow
- giving is for our own deeds
Pastor also said that Phillip sent a letter to Paul about the work of mission and we must attend to it, and
we are looking forward to more heaven blessings rather than blessings on Earth. He then read out 1
Timothy 6:17-19. For those people wealthy and rich people who give out the needs to the poor people,
they are just building up their riches more and more. And we must be aware of these questions:
1. Does giving affect you much?
2. Compare your saving and the money you give for missionary work
For the last, Pastor said that our wealth can vanish, do good deeds when you are alive and if you set foot
into the path of giving, you will not have any regrets.•Mission report:T Dongkhansiam
