1 Corinthians 13:1-13
The Pastor welcomed the people who are not actually the member of the church of EBCC Delhi,and gave gratitude by encouraging them to finish whatever mission they have.
Before diving into the lesson, Pastor said something about the Bible, i.e, there is everything in the Bible, and it teaches us everything.
After that, he then clarified the definition of love.
In his saying, he said that the Bible teaches us to have and contain much love, and we need to have much love to ourselves.
Even this was teach by Jesus.
When we say love, it is significant and very important. Without love, the work we do is nothing for the Lord.
The Pastor added in his preach for the church members and want to convey it to them.
What is love?
"Love is patient and kind, love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way, it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. "
Continuing with his preach,
Pastor added that when we look at the church of Corinthians, there is aggression
How many of us here fulfill the responsibility of love?, Pastor asked the church members.
This love is Agape, and Jesus have all these love. Therefore, we must try to turn our eyes upon him.
We must ponder if we have receive the love of Jesus.
Pastor then read out some Bible verses:
1 Corinthians 14:1-
Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.
1 Corinthians 14: 8-
For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
1 Corinthians 14:12-
Since you are eager to have spiritual gifts, try to excel in gifts that build up the church.
For his conclusion,
Pastor concluded that we, the church members of EBCC DELHI, must give importance to love rather than other things, and we must consider the love that Jesus have for us and we must love and care for each other.
