Theme: Good Tidings of Great Joy for All.
The worship service began with Scripture reading and prayer by Nu Ngaikhanching. The congregation then sang hymns revolving around the birth of Jesus Christ. Thereafter, ordained Elder T Songzalian welcomed every one and Miss Nemsiam presented a special number. The Christmas offering was dedicated by ordained Elder T. Thianzakham. After presentation of a special number by Mr Liankhansiam, Pastor Thuamminlian Guite addressed the congregation and gave Christmas greetings followed by a special number from Mr Muanpui.
Pastor G. Khankham gave a short message on the theme, "Good Tidings of Great Joy for All" taken out from Luke 2:10-11. The good tiding is the birth of a Savior, Christ the Lord for all mankind. It was first proclaimed to the lowly shepherds. He explained how the birth of Jesus Christ into this world is the fulfillment of the prophecies in the Old Testament. God’s plan is salvation for all. Because of His great love for us, He sent His only begotten son to suffer and die for our sins so that everyone might live. Pastor then asked the congregation to examine themselves whether they are alive in Christ or redeemed.
The worship service ended with a prayer by ordained Elder T. Thiankhanmuan.
