THANKSGIVING SHARING

[Psalm 103:1-5]
We need to discuss upon these verses for David wrote these verses in the later years of his life. After all the hardships and everything he experienced. After everything David declared the Lord God is worthy of our praise from the depths of our very being. We tend to forget the countless good times but remember the hard times. It is impossible to not give praise to God wholeheartedly even with the blessing He bestows upon us. We should give praise even for the fact that God gave us His only son in order for us to receive salvation and be one with God again. Are we only giving praise when we receive material gifts and blessings? Why not when we are blessed spiritually? Since our spiritual life is the most important aspect of our inmost being. Therefore, let us all review and reflect upon our life and see what is worth praising and give more importance to our spiritual growth than the physical aspects of our lives.
Do we only see grievances even among the countless blessings? Why only grievances? Let us introspect again. It is a miserable life to only have grievances. The very fact that we are able to wake up each day in the morning itself is a blessing. God’s wonderful blessings- the air we breathe without a price to pay, the fact that we are able to attend the church service, the clothes we are able to warm ourselves with in this cold. Aren’t all these something we should grateful to God about?
In this chaotic world, people who find contentment, happiness and are grateful in their life are truly the blessed ones. With the innumerable blessings in our everyday life, we have so many things to be grateful about. God has set asides countless blessings in heaven and he further gave us on this earth too. Therefore, let us all give thanks to God for He has given us in abundance. Let us all praise God with a grateful heart and seek forgiveness when we are not able to feel the graciousness of God.

[Philippians 3]
Christmas is the day for us to rejoice for our true citizenship is with God and not of any human made things. Even in the times of our despair be rest assured for God still and will always love us. When we are wounded and become weak in our faith. Let us not end up hurting ourselves but keeping our faith stronger in Christ.

[Hebrews 12:2-8]
“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.”
Our God is all powerful, Almighty and all things are done through and for him. Even with so many hardships I am able stand tall. Song: Phat diing na kilawm hi (sang out from his heart, back-up by WT musicians)
Each of our Pastors had been like a building block for the church which continues to grow over the years. They are like a pyramid which contributes to the building of our church. Therefore, resist from comparing our church leaders and pastors. For each of them have a value addition to our church’s growth.
Let us welcome the good news and stand together with the church. Always have a thankful heart because God has brought us out of the forests and into this city. If we focus on the good things then I think we will live a more happy life.

[Matthew 2:7-11]
Within the span of then and now, so many deaths have happened and I could’ve been one of those too.
[Matthew 33]
“Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness”
I have been receiving God’s blessings since forever. We have people, who are blessed with talents and intelligence but have not been able to find success which they may be lacking and which can only be found in God. Even if we didn’t work yet God provides. So how come we even think God is not worthy of our praise. I sing praise to God. We are blessed even as a minority community in Delhi. We are blessed so we sing praise to God. My life may have been marred by hardships but God has always enabled me to come through it. I am amazed at the glorious ways in which God has rescued me. So I give thanks to God that I am able to praise Him with my hands, feet and all my being. If we are obedient to God’s laws then it is more precious and valuable than any prized offering given to God. It is only our love and obedience that God asks of us and nothing more.
Hardships are part and parcel of life. But if we accept these with God’s graciousness then He will always find a way out of these hardships. God’s people are known as givers. We are to give and give thanks for all the things God has done for us. Therefore, it is better to give than to receive.
Lastly, I would like to share that it is by giving to God will our hearts be filled with true joy. [Psalm 3:3-5]
