WORSHIP SERVICE, 9TH December 2012
The highlight of today’s service was the report of the local chairman G. Damsawmthang about the 64th annual EBC conclave held at Lamka from 1st - 4th December 2012. There were 6 representatives of our church including our pastor Rev. V. Nenglian. These were:

In his report Upa Damsawmthang spoke of a radical shift in the perspective of the conclave this year. It is his belief that the trajectory of the convention was spiritual and not so much about administrative issues. He shared a small but very significant incident of a woman’s thanksgiving request which spoke volumes about the rampant corruption which has plagued our land, society and even our spiritual life and how it has now become the acceptable norm to thank God for the blessing called Corruption.
The Pastor through a series of pictures in a slide presentation informed the congregation about the building progress of the Centenary Hall and emphasized on the need to contribute towards this monumental building. Accordingly the offering today was earmarked as a contribution towards the building fund.
Our very hard working and efficient church member Pa Lun Thawmte was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation by the Pastor on behalf of EBCC, Dwarka in recognition for the labour and time that he has poured into our church activities all these years. We wish him the very best as he plans to relocate to Lamka and hope that he will continue to be a blessing wherever he goes just as he has been to us.
Pa Lam Benson Guite and his wife Nu Mercy dedicated their baby daughter Miss Niangthianhoih to the Lord Almighty in the presence of the congregation as the witness.
The Baptist Youth Fellowship concluded their Advance Christmas programme with a short award felicitation of members who have read the Bible entirely in the current year. The following is list of these exemplary young people who have proved that if we have the zeal then nothing is impossible!

A special Christmas gift was presented to Pastor V. Nenglian and the church caretaker Pa Ginsuan. The service was concluded with a prayer by our Pastor.
