Worship Service | 15 March 2015
The morning worship service was held at 11:00 AM while the afternoon worship service was held at 3:00 PM. During the morning service Pastor Nenglian took the platform by handing out Certificates for Patron Membership and Chief Patron Membership from BIIS (Bible International India Society) and BSI(Bible Society of India) to Elder Dr.and Mrs.Langkham.
Sermon Theme: Christian Family Structure
Sermon began with a wrap up of lastweek's sermon on the same topic of "Christian Family Structure" (Gen 2:22-24)
The day's Sermon was based on the scripture of Colossians 3:18-21.
Character of the Christian Life and Home:
3:18 : The Role of Wives
The Wives of Men are adviced to submit willingly and lovingly,without being pushed/forced,to their Husband and to act as is fitting in the Lord.
3:19 : Husband's Do's and Don'ts
Husband's are advised to Love their Wives and not be embitter them just as God love us unconditionally
3:20-21 : Parent-Children Relationship
In everything Children are advised to obey their Parents, in the Lord, for it is right. (*Ephesians 6:1-3) Fathers should not Provoke or embitter their children, lest they become discouraged and hamper their relationship. The Backbone of the Christian Family must always be Christ, and in one does one should remember the Lord and attribute Glory to His name.
