To start his preaching Pastor read out some bible verse from [Isaiah :38:1]In those days Hezekiah became
sick and was at the point of death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to
him, “Thus says the Lord: Set your house in order, for you shall die, you shall not recover.”

[Isai:38:2]Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord,

[Isai:38:3]and said, “Please, O Lord, remember how I have walked before you in faithfulness and with a
whole heart, and have done what is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

[Isai:38:4]Then the word of the Lord came to Isaiah:

[Isai:38:5]“Go and say to Hezekiah, Thus says the Lord, the God of David your father: I have heard your
prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will add fifteen years to your life.

[Isai:38:6]I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria, and will defend this city.
[Luka:1:1]Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the things that have been
accomplished among us,

[Luka:1:2]just as those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and ministers of the word have
delivered them to us,

[Luka:1:3]it seemed good to me also, having followed all things closely for some time past, to write an
orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus,

[Luka:1:4]that you may have certainty concerning the things you have been taught.

[Luka:1:5]In the days of Herod, king of Judea, there was a priest named Zechariah,of the division of
Abijah. And he had a wife from the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.
For the last verse he read out from isaiah 38:6.
Pastor added that this is the only verse which would lead us to suppose that the events synchronised
with Sennacherib’s invasion; but its genuineness is doubtful. An unqualified assurance of deliverance is
hardly consistent with the prophet’s attitude to the king’s policy at the time supposed. Hezekiah was
deeply committed to projects of rebellion in the first years of Sennacherib’s reign, and a political
message from Isaiah in those circumstances could hardly fail to be accompanied by a warning against
the tendency which prevailed at the court.
For the topic pastor said about prayer i,e approach God in prayer. He explained that prayers is one of
the most often tool used for us to approached God.why is this so?
Pastor added that its because we can pray to God everytime, everywhere.
Prayers is simply talking to God and we also spend time God in prayer .Continuing his sharing Pastor
said that Prayers is invaluable and for this reason the pastor encouraged the congregation to pray more
and build good relationship with God through prayers.
