  • Blessings prayer for fathers and evan teachers by Pastor G.Khankham
  • Sharing by Pastor T. Lamkhanthang

Firstly,  the Pastor said that for the first time for sunday school, the questions paper for the exam can be taken.

And then, he read out Genesis 22:1-9. With this, he said that a good father respect God and fear his wreath, and a good son obeys his father.

In Genesis 22:1-2, we can see that Abraham went through a state of temptation, and this temptation is not for destruction, but for our own goodness and for our own spiritual faith so that we can have a deep relationship with God is the message given by the pastor. And just like Job, when we overcome temptation, we can receive blessings in double.

Futhermore, the pastor explaine Genesis 22:3-5, and we can see that Abraham put God first, and even when he is of many age, he could tie his son, Isaac, who was strong enough, and the way his son obeys his father. Just like this are we also a good child, a good son? We should take it into heart and consideration.

In Hebrew 11:16, the pastor said that we can see the faith and the way of struggling of Abraham. Just like that, us fathers should also have a faith as strong as Abraham. He continued, when fathers love our children too much, we fail to ignore the words of God, and even some people, when their children give their fathers too much pressure, it makes their father relationship with God farther away from each other.

When fathers care for their children too much, working for their side incomes and buying of jobs are some of the common ways of our doing in manipur. These are one of the example of how we are not fighting to fight against our temptation.

Lastly, the pastor challenged fathers to pour our God's love on their children, and that blessing eventually comes from fathers and the position of being a father is something of wonderful status. But if you are not worthy of a blessing, your generation will be thirty for blessings. Children should be obedient just like Isaac and fathers should always be able to overcome temptation just like Abraham.
