Worship Team Leader N Thangkhanhau initiated the service by reading from the book of Lamentations 3:23,24,40,41 and opening prayer.

Pastoral Prayer was conducted by Pastor T Lamkhanthang by reading from the book of Psalms 23:1-6 and prayed for members who have special occasions in the month May and for the congregation as a whole.

Elder H Kamsuanthang briefed about the upcoming budget and forecasted expenditures. Hausuanthang also briefed the church about the upcoming Missionary Day and highlighted the program scheduled.
Sunday Sermon by Pastor G Khankham on the topic “Responsibilities Of Parents To Be Nearer To God” with reference from the book of Genesis 35:4-12. Pastor stressed on the importance of letting our children know about the existence of only one God, which is all the more important for parents who live in the metropolis as we are in the midst of different cultures and religions. He also spoke about the need to love with all our heart and strength and that we are to guide our children everyday of our lives, at all times. Quoting examples from the life of Jacob, we can be transformed and be called Israel.
