Dhemaji Mission Field: Started in 2012, it is the youngest mission field of EBC. Eight Cross Cultural Missionaries including one Field Superintendent (FS), one Pastor and one Office Assistant along with 12 native evangelists are working in 13 villages, churches and fellowships among the Mising tribe. Around 350 believers have been recorded.

The team visited eight churches/villages - EBCC Namguria, EBCC Pitiyang Chapori, EBCC Amguri, EBCC Kapurdwa, EBCC Dimaruguri, EBCC Maj Bandena, EBCC Lachangaon and EBCC Dokhin Chapori. At all the Church services, the visiting team prayed for the church members.  The team also visited EBCC Itanagar which is 150 kms from Dhemaji and had a blessed time of fellowship with the church members.

At the Joint Fellowship of all the leaders and workers at Lachangaon church, the visiting team presented a Keyboard on behalf of EBCC Delhi for the use of the Dhemaji Mission Field.

Karbi Anglong Mission Field: This Mission Field will complete 50 years of existence in 2020 and is going to be handed over to the local people. The team visited Convention English School (CES) Tari Adong and EBCC Tari Adong, CES New Langrik, EBCC New Langrik, EBCC Baithilango, CES Paklongkam, EBCC Paklongkam and EBCC Dengaon. There are more than 200 students in each of the CES they visited but infrastructure improvement is required for the school buildings.

Afterwards, the visiting team had fellowship with the Field Working Committee and Bial Working Committee at the FS quarters and handed over Rs 45,000 for the Karbi Anglong Mission Field.

SHORT SHARING BY N. VUMSUAN:

Under the Dhemaji Mission Field, we visited eight villages/churches which are far in between. The mission workers told us that they go where God open the doors. Out of the 350 believers recorded, most of them are in the younger age group with the elders numbering around 50-100. The fact that young people have a love for the gospel is very promising. They are very interested in singing and dancing and our gift of Keyboard is going to be very useful. Besides preaching the word of God, the mission workers give tuitions to students and focus on their education. During this trip, we saw how God can open all doors. The world and everything in it, belongs to him. We need to constantly pray for the believers and workers. The mission workers are living with their families and medical facilities is inadequate. There is also the danger of the mission workers getting spiritually weak.

SHORT SHARING BY J H GINMUNG:

There are 1266 members under the Karbi Anglong Mission Field with 10 churches, 8 fellowships, 6 missionaries, 4 pastors, 18 native workers and 6 mission schools. The number of church elders is 17+2(Retired). Our leaders facilitate education through opening schools and sponsoring children. Training is also given to make the church self reliant.

The number of students in Paklongkam CES and New Langrik CES are 240 and 207 respectively. We were told that the numbers could go up. Financial assistance is needed for improving the infrastructure of the school buildings. We need to pray so that God will work in this regard.

Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days” Ecclesiastis 11:1
