WEALTH
 Pastor N Tuang Lang

The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, without painful toil for it.
Proverbs 10:22

The yardstick for measuring whether wealth comes from God depends on how the wealth received is used. As mentioned in Proverbs 10:22, the blessing from the Lord doesn’t bring pain or suffering to the receiver, the people around him and his family.

THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF WEALTH:
1. Jesus, the most precious wealth
People who received Jesus as their savior, live for Him and walk alongside Him in his daily life are the wealthiest of all men. Wealth without sorrow is a wealth from God. This is the most important wealth that we all should pass on to our children and generations to come. Members of the church and parents in Delhi should be keen in looking after the spiritual status of our children without which all earthly richness will be meaningless.

2. Earthly wealth
Health is wealth and a healthy man is a wealthy man. We should not take health for granted and be reminded everyday that this wealth comes from God. Being healthy is not at our disposition and we should always be thankful for it. More importantly, we should be watchful on how we utilize this gift from God, health. If you being healthy is a trouble and nuisance for the people around you, your family rather than bringing joy, then this wealth is not from God. This is wealth that adds sorrow.
In contrary to general perception, sickness is wealth too. Sickness draws us closer to God and makes us understand things which we would not have in health. This sickness does not add sorrow to the sick but rather find joy in that sickness. A sickness that does not add sorrow is that from God.

3. Employment/Profession/Job
Being employed and able to earn our living is a blessing from God. There are thousands who look for job but didn’t have it. And out of the many looking for employment in Delhi alone, you are blessed with the job you are doing. But it is important to ask ourselves, how did I use the salary and opportunity given to me? If we use it for the glory of God, to serve Him and not bring sorry for others then we can truly say that this wealth is from God.
