CIRCUMCISION BY HOLY SPIRIT

Greeting you all in the name of Jesus Christ!

This morning I would like to preach on our real spiritual conditions. Everyone of us may claim that
we are a born-again Christian if asks and needless to enquire about the time, the day when we accept
our Lord Jesus as our Saviour. But, the most important questions that we all should rather ask
ourselves must be “When did you meet the Holy Spirit in your life”, what changes did the Holy Spirit
brought into your life.

Romans 2:25-29 clearly tell about the importance of circumcision in our heart, by the spirit
inwardly, which is from God. Being born-again is rather in spirit, when our soul encounters the Holy
Spirit which dwells in our heart and connects us with God. Then, we can become the true child of
God. Most Christians today think that a good Christian is one who attends the church services, pays
tithes and sincerely involves in church-related activities. But, these outward acts and rituals can
never qualify us to become a true child of God until and unless personally encounter with the Holy
Spirit and become a changed person, a new human, having the old past life and leaving behind those
sinful past.

Galatians 5:19-23 teach us about and warn us from those sinful practices, coming from the deed of
flesh, immorality, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, impurity, enmity, etc. etc. that who still practice
such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But, a spiritually changed person who possesses the
fruits of the spirit like love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-
control, will only have the right to inherit the kingdom of God. So, let us ponder and have a self-
introspection within ourselves, do we really have these spiritual fruits or are we still the same human
being even after we are being baptized.

Ephesians 2:11-13 – Here what the Apostle Paul tries to talk about the circumcision was that of Jesus
Christ, through the Holy Spirit: The only condition that brings us to the presence of God, becoming
his rightful heirs (inheritors) of his kingdom, part of the covenants of his promises.

To conclude, may God bless each and everyone of us to bear the spiritual fruits, to be a spiritually
changed Christian and his true child.
