How does a sinful, finite human being come to know about what a holy, infinite God desires?
He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the letters of encouragement, prayer support and gifts on behalf of the front-line mission workers. The sermon focused on the importance of Christian mission.
God does not desire in the ruin of sinners. We were once in darkness but brought to Light through the Gospel. God desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth. Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. Through the ‘Great Commission’ as in the scripture, we are instructed to spread His teaching to all the nations of the world. God wants us to give our assistance toward the rescue of innocent persons or those drawn towards death by doing anything in our power for their deliverance. As a believer in Christ we are likened to Ezekiel as Israel’s watchman. Have we sounded the trumpet? Have we warned the people of the danger that lies ahead?
It’s our responsibility to use the authority that Christ has given us.
What can we do to help build the Kingdom of God?
