Sermon (Pastor Biakson)

Praise means expressing admiration, and it is what we human have to give God. Praise is not praise until it is heard by Him. It is a way of expressing how great our God is, to glorify and manifest his artwork and grace. It has to be audible and loud when we praise Him. We need to praise God only His way, because we want our praises to be accepted.

Often we made the mistake of being grateful only when the Lord blessed us, In other words only when there is some result (positive) in our work or life. But we are so wrong, for our eyes are just closed. We should praise God every time, even through life storm and tempest.  (Habakkuk 3:17-18), we should praise Him in every place, be it church or offices or college/home. We praise Him because he is so mighty, he deserved praise. Praise is all about denying yourself, let God to be God in your life and praise Him with all your heart and soul. We can praise Him by standing, on our knees, bowing down, lifting our hands… we praise Him and express our emotions with body gestures, languages and through music and poetry, only His way.

We go to church/fellowship and each of us have different role to play. But our Father is the same and we are a member in one body, Christ being our head. As the same goes for our profession, be it ministry, teaching, we speak the same tongue, belong to Christ only. For we should collaborate and be graceful to one another.

We should learn to be grateful even times when we go through brink of desperation. For His love is big enough, and His grace redeem us in those dark days. Learn to surrender your body, feel that you are nothing, intact with your fragility He is all that matters in our lives. The Lord ask you to give your all and praise Him. (Romans 12:1-12). As a Christian, we should be kind and affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another, not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. Human must rejoice in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer

So let us surrender and give our all to Him.
