Worship Service Write-up

TUAILAI DAY 15 OCTOBER 2016

Pastor Tuanglang inaugurated the TUAILAI DAY programme with a prayer. It was followed by praise and worship led by the worship team. After the worship session, Pastor Biakson took the stage for the TUAILAI DAY message.

TUAILAI DAY MESSAGE:

Pastor read out two portions from the Bible- Proverbs 14:34 and Psalm 1:1-6 and led us in a word of prayer.

1.The Bible can be used as an instrument to teach one another especially the disciples/children of God on how to live life in his footsteps. It is also a very important evidence where we can find all His teachings and methods and can become a very good source to all His children (II Tim.3:16). It can be effectively used to teach, to correct, to rebuild and to restore anyone who has lost their ways and turned away from Christ.

2.When we talk about rebuilding and restoring in Jesus Christ, one might think if that is needed again and again when once you have based your foundations on Christ? Well the question is not about the foundation anymore rather its about the bond/ relationship that might have become weak with time. Therefore we need to keep a check on our relationship with God.If our relation/bond is becoming weak then so will our foundation become weak. If foundations become weak then we will not be able to exalt our nation, we would rather lead the nation into the roads of sin and destruction. So just simply basing our foundations on Jesus Christ alone will not help it to grow strong, it would need one to work hard daily in order to make that bond grow strong by rebuilding and restoring with that same faith and belief that we had when we first placed our foundations on the solid rock - Jesus Christ.

3. There are three kinds of Righteousness :

a. Self Righteousness : those who consider themselves to be righteous and see their righteousness bigger than that of others and so they reproach those who are not up to their level. e.g- the Pharisees and the Hypocrites.

b. Imputed Righteousness : this is the one that has been given to us by God through His only son Jesus Christ.Whoever believes and accepts him as their LORD and SAVIOR will be given this kind of righteousness with grace and grace alone.

c. Practical Righteousness : It is the one that when we use the imputed righteousness in our practical lives and live by it. that is why Imputed and Practical righteousness go together otherwise it would create harm and destruction to all. While many of us are stuck on the imputed righteousness only and don't try to follow the truth and righteousness that we see in Christ and which was given to us so that we must follow it, it leads to harm and further affects not only ourselves but also our family and relatives and even our nation on a bigger picture.

Therefore my dear youngsters we need to question our practical Christian life. We need to ponder on whether our Christian Life is based on both imputed and practical righteousness or only on imputed righteousness?? If we are just stuck on the imputed righteousness only then we would not be able to have any fruitful results as we know it would lead to harmful effects to ourselves and to the whole nation as well. But if we accept and believe in Christ' righteousness and are willing to apply it in our lives and are willing to rebuild and restore our lives on the one and only solid rock - Jesus Christ we would be be fruitful always and in the right directions.

In Ephesians 5:1-4 we can find ways from which we have to refrain in order to live a fruitful and righteous life :

1.Sexual Immorality

2.Impurity

3.Greed- leads to corruption

Being youngsters we should all know how to differentiate between the things that can exalt us/family/nation from the things that can cause destruction to us/family/nation. We need to know what to adopt and what to give up in life.
