Rs 23,200 incurred on purchase of 100 copies of the Cambridge English Pronouncing Dictionary, for being provided to the teachers and students.
These dictionaries were distributed to the concerned schools/teachers through the Director of Institutions.
PHASE-II
Teachers of Schools within Mizoram Division
Rs 30,000 sanctioned for sponsoring a capacity enhancement/training programme for teachers of Mizoram Division.
About 50 teachers from the Division participated in the event, called ENGLISH TEACHER TRAINING, which was successfully held between July 24-27, 2012 at MEHS, Mimbung.
PHASE-III
Teachers of Schools within Singngat Division
Rs 35,000 sanctioned for sponsoring another capacity enhancement/training programme for evangelist teachers of the Singngat Division.
About 96 teachers from the Division received training during the event, which was successfully held between October 2-6, 2012 at DES, Lungthul (D).
