Welcome & Invocation: this can be a kind of welcome address or greetings to the congregation and invoke them into worshipping the Almighty God through scripture reading and/or prayer.
Responsive reading: Bible text such as Ps. 42:2; 133:1; Titus 2:12; Neh. 2:18; should be included for responsive reading. The leader should lead the congregation into reading aloud Bible verses responsively.
Songs of Praises: this is a time of praise & worship, where the team will lead the congregation into singing, praising and praying. They will let everyone gets involve in singing, praising and praying. Songs are to be selected from all communities which are common to everyone. A common English chorus may also be included. All necessary Sound instruments will be arranged by the team.
Intercessory prayer: this will be a time of praying and blessing by the shepherd (working Pastors) for the land and congregation. The leader will collect prayer points and give one point each to all Pastors. At the end, a senior Pastor will pronounce blessings for the congregation. All Pastors are expected to wear their Pastor gown during this prayer.
Special item: this is a 4mins time each given to all the participating churches/fellowships. A choir, song, drama or whatever they can do for the glory of God will be presented to the congregation.
Scriptural reading-2: Selected scriptural passage by the speaker will be read aloud.
Sermon: A sermon based on the theme- Longing for the Lord will be delivered by the speaker in 30 mins time.
Offering collection: the ushers will start collecting the offerings right after the sermon is over. Meanwhile, special item will go on..
Offertory prayer: as the offerings are brought to the pulpit and the 4 special items were done, a pastor will pray for it.
Concluding remarks: this can be a kind of vote of thanks where the pastor may wrap-up what we all have been going through.
