The program started with an innaugral prayer by the Local
Pastor (Nenglian), followed by a devotion session of praise and worship,
during which the worship leader also lead a mass prayer.
After the collection of the offerings, Elder Tuanmuanthang, blessed
them with a prayer, with the whole attendance as a witness.
The sermon of the day was given by the Assistant Local Pastor (Biakson),
with the main theme, 'July thrust: Prioritizing family worship'. Pastor
Biakson, with a reference from Genesis 35:1-7, says that whatever that
had happened in the past and is yet to happen, has always and will
always be God's plan. As seen through Jacob's life.
Is God our priority? Do we live in accordance to God's will? These
questions linger in the air when we compare the life God wants us to
live and the reality that we live in. We, as a family, ought to set our
foundations, plunged deep and firm in the name of God— through his
presence, word and spirit. As once said, "Family altar can alter your
family." It is high time to set our priorities straight and become anew
in God.
After the enthralling sermon that blessed our ears and hearts, the
morning session witnessed its conclusion with a hymn, lead by our praise
and worship leaders and the final benediction by the church, Elder
Khamkhanpau.
