People intensely studied and tried understanding the Bible. God-breathed Scripture is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, also be equipped for good work.
The EBC doctrine believe in the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament, that there is no wrong in the original, that we believe and follow and is the highest power, that there is nothing to add or remove.

When Jesus came to the world, He was baptized. After that, He was taken into the wilderness for 40n days and 40 nights. While He was hungry and thirsty, He was tempted by the devil. During the spiritual battle, He didn’t confront from his own thoughts, but based on the Scripture. So, when we say we can’t fight temptations, may be read too less of the Bible, know less of the Bible or didn’t build our foundation on the Bible.
On the questions of the devil, as in Matthew chapter 4, Jesus replied based on the Scripture. Deuteronomy :13, Psalms :11,12, Deuteronomy 6:16, Deuteronomy 6:13
So, if we read and understand the Bible, we can overcome our daily battle of temptations. Live the Bible.
