CHRISTMAS CAROL IN THE PARK – A CHOIR FESTIVAL AT SELECT CITYWALK, SAKET

The EBC Church Delhi Youth (BYF) Choir presented themselves at the Carol In The Park event held at Select City Walk on 22nd December 2014 at 7pm-8pm. Miss Joyce Jambiakkim, Asst. Secy. Evan. Dept., BYF Committee played the host of this event.
The choir is composed of fifty-two members. They presented a total of five songs - three in English & two in Paite. The event was also graced by about fifty church members along with about twenty other shoppers. The host Miss Biakkim made an introductory speech after which three songs were presented consecutively by the choir. Upa Dr.B.Langkham then spoke briefly on what the meaning of Christmas is. He also spoke about how Jesus Christ is the ‘Prince of Peace’, ‘A Wonderful King’, and ‘King of Kings’. A breath-taking performance presented by the trio N.Thangkhanhau & Co. followed. At this event, two random shoppers who could attend the carol also shared their experiences about Christmas after which the choir presented two songs consecutively. The Pastor, Rev V Nenglian, then wound up the event with pastoral blessing.
