The Holy Communion Service commenced with a reading of Scripture portion from Isaiah 53:5-6 and invocation of the Almighty by the worship leader. The congregation was then led to a soul-stirring praise and worship session. Pastor T Lamkhanthang dedicated the offerings to the Almighty.

Welcoming the first time visitors to the church, Pastor Thang highlighted the weekday worship service, which will begin on 5th February at 3:00PM, and encouraged church members having no week-offs on Sundays to participate. He also made an appeal to the congregation on behalf of our internally displaced brothers and sisters in Christ, who are in need of financial aid. Reading from Ephesians 3:20-21, Pastor said that being led by our own intellect, faculty, and affluence is futile. Instead, we must surrender our individual problems, family and social issues to God, whose wisdom is transcendent and superior. He then led the congregation in a mass prayer.

Pastor Thang spoke on the topic ‘The Mankind and Jesus Paradox’. He read out 1 Corinthians 11:24 and listed down several differences between mankind and Jesus- Humans, despite being utterly sinful, would rather present themselves righteous, as opposed to Jesus, who despite being sinless, bore our sins, and died a sinner on our behalf. Reading from Romans 3:10-18 and Romans 6:23, Pastor pondered on the question: ‘Why did Jesus gave Himself up as a sacrifice for mankind?’ He then read out Ephesians 2:3, Romans 3: 25, Romans 5:8, and expounded on how Jesus Christ is the antidote for our eternal damnation, because God’s righteous attribute demands justice; God showed His unwavering love for sinners by sacrificing His son, Jesus, who had no sin, a sinner (2 Corinthians 5:21), Agape Love made Him see Jesus in us and us in Jesus when He look at us through faith/credence; God gave us a gift of righteousness through His son, Jesus Christ. Pastor Thang urged the congregation to surrender our mind, body and spirit to God, who did not spare anything to redeem us, and to prayerfully eat and drink the Communion bread and wine.

Pastor then read out the Scripture portion of the Lord’s Supper, and blessed the Holy Communion. The congregation partook the Communion bread and wine reverentially, a prayer and a heartfelt praise and worship ensued.

Eight newly registered church members were welcomed to the local church, and Pastor Thang invoked the blessings of the Almighty for their stay in Delhi.

Pastor T Lamkhanthang closed the Holy Communion service with a word of prayer.
